LAL Torbay is proud to be a member of English UK and Accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language.

"The British Council inspected and accredited LAL Torbay in August/September 2010. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation for details).

"This large private language school offers courses in general English for Adults (minimum age 16) and vacation courses for under 18s.

"Points of excellence were noted in aspects of premises, academic management, pastoral care and the leisure programme.

"The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the scheme."
