Leisure programme at LAL New York
Students have the opportunity to participate in a large number of activities, all within the universities extensive grounds. Six excursions are included every two weeks, including an excursion to Ellis Island & the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. There is also the opportunity for students to participate in optional full day excursions to Philadelphia and Six Flags theme Park.
All activities are supported by activity staff to ensure safety and bring the events to life.
Our balanced leisure programme is designed to appeal to both the sports and non-sports minded student, so in addition to sports we offer drama classes, movie making and photography workshops and a very entertaining casino night.

Optional Excursions
Philadelphia
Full-day excursion to the birth place of the American constitution, Philadelphia. Located 90 miles south of New York, Philadelphia is home to a vast array of historical sites depicting the birth of liberty and freedom enshrined within the Bill of Rights.
Six Flags
Full-day excursion to Great Adventure and Wild Safari, a Six Flags theme park in New Jersey.
Students can choose from one of Six Flags many awarding winning roller coasters or visit the largest drive-thru safari outside of Africa.
New York Limo Ride
Half-day excursion to downtown Manhattan at night. Students will be driven by Limo to Times Square where they will enjoy some free time before being driven back to the school by Limo.
Major League Baseball Game
Half-day excursion to either a New York Yankees or a New York Mets baseball game. This excursion is a unique opportunity for students to be part of the quintessential American pastime.
